21 Jul Please wear a mask when you come to Westcare!
It is now mandatory to wear a mask when you go out in public. We also ask you to do so when coming to the medical centre for care.
It does not matter whether it is a surgical mask, or a homemade fabric one, or even one of the full-face plastic shields (they are not quite as safe but better than not wearing anything).
Our doctors and staff have been wearing masks for some time. We are taking all the extra precautions to minimise the spread of COVID-19, and we hope you agree that the inconvenience is worth putting up with for now.
Remember too that we are doing many of our consultations by telehealth (video link) or telephone so you can #stayathome. The medical centre is still open if you need to be examined or have a test or procedure, so don’t hesitate to contact your doctor with questions or concerns.
