Dr Aoun Rizvi

Dr Aoun Rizvi graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from The University of Melbourne in 2018. He completed several years of hospital training across various campuses of The Northern Hospital in Victoria before moving into general practice in 2022.

Dr Rizvi joined Westcare in early 2024 and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) later that year. He enjoys caring for patients of all ages and believes it is important that every patient feels heard, respected and involved in their healthcare.

Dr Rizvi has an interest in many areas of general practice, including men’s health, women’s health, children’s health, chronic disease management, mental health, preventative health, pregnancy care, and iron deficiency and anaemia.

Outside of medicine, Aoun enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring Melbourne’s food scene, and learning about his language and culture.
